        Zippo Manufacturing Company is currently seeking qualified applicants for two full-time  hourly (majority remote)  Sales Associate opportunities.

        The Sales Associate will assist Sales Managers with handling sales functions within their pre-assigned territories, along with maintaining back-up duties outside assigned territories for cross functionality. The Sales Associate acts as liaison between Sales Managers, Area Sales Managers, and all customers for domestic, international, and national accounts. Moreover, the Sales Associate works with various departments on projects for new custom lighters, customer projects, and customer specific items for orders.

        Primary Duties Include:

        • Receives incoming phone calls, mail, e-mail and faxes for customers placing orders. Provides a variety of inquiry functions and handles complaints and questions from district sales representatives, sales managers, and customers. Provides back up to other sales associates.

        • Sets-up and maintains new and old customer account files and records. Enters orders and change orders as necessary in computer system. Enters computer graphic requests, project requests, and processes Design Center Visit information, as necessary. Works with customers that come in for Design Center visits.
        • Writes debits, credits, tracers, return material authorizations and instructs receiving department on the disposition of returns. Processes and distributes catalog, pop and display orders and sales promotion material requests as directed.

            Zippo Manufacturing Company is currently seeking qualified applicants for a full-time office hourly opportunity as a Digital Asset Management (DAM) Librarian.

            This position will oversee all aspects of managing ARC, our Access Resource Center. This includes maintenance on than 113,000 assets, consisting of photography, videos, and other collateral.

            The DAM Librarian will manage the delivery of services related to the DAM system, and support DAM users in uploading assets to the DAM, searching and retrieving existing assets on the DAM, and delivering reports on DAM usage.

            Responsibilities:

            • Manage the life cycle of all digital assets for the Zippo brands.

            • Manage a unified metadata strategy and architecture, establish best practices to permit scalability, allowing users to quickly search and discover marketing assets.
            • Create workflows for ingestion, storage, and delivery of assets to DAM system users, all the while looking for efficiencies in these processes.

              Primary Duties Include:

                            Zippo is currently seeking qualified applicants for a full-time, salaried, and fully remote employment opportunity as a Digital and B2B Copywriter, responsible for accelerating development and execution of our digital demand generation programs (B2C) and catalog programs (B2B). This role will work with our digital and brand teams to create consumer-facing written content aimed to generate engagement and action. Reporting to the Associate Vice President, Zippo Global Marketing, this position requires versatility, working across the Zippo and Zippo Outdoor brands on domestic and global initiatives, in a fast-paced environment, making prioritization and time management skills essential.

                            Primary Duties:

                            (Digital Copywriting)

                            · Creative development of short form written content for both internal and external audiences with emphasis on support of paid and organic digital marketing (websites (U.S. and Europe), email, social media, display ads, video) and print programs including product descriptions and campaign key messages

                            • Transform long-form content into engaging marketized consumer language
                            • Write and manage blogs for Zippo and Zippo Outdoor brands. Drive Search Engine Optimization through relevant, continuously refreshed copy throughout website, landing pages and blogs
                            • Conduct research and review existing content to continuous identify opportunities for search engine optimization
                            • Working with Innovation and Product Development, ensure product claims are accurately stated across all digital channels and catalogs
                            • Increase performance of catalogs through clear articulation of design processes, licensing partnerships, and product attributes and usage
                            • Concept and execute work with quick turnaround times
                            • Work with digital team and advertising agency (Ogilvy) on campaigns and press releases targeting identified consumer segments
                            • Research digital ad trends and use those learnings to make creative decisions
                            • Evaluate performance metrics with the purpose of improving upon previous or existing messaging
                            • Identify powerful keywords to drive traffic among targeted consumer segments
                            • Evaluate website metadata and refine into powerful call-to-actions that convert visitors
                            • Regularly refresh content on high-performing pages
                            • Test content opportunities
                            • Continuously improve copy for optimal performance at all stages of the marketing funnel

                            (Other Responsibilities)

                            • Manage special projects, coordinate meetings with stakeholders, and determine, authorize, and direct changes in processes and procedures as needed.
                            • Own relationship with third party translation partner(s).
                            • Some travel (domestic and international) may be required.
                            • Attend training and conferences as required to keep up with current trends and best practices.

                            Additional Qualifications:

                            • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Writing, Public Relations, Marketing or related field
                            • 5+ years of copywriting experience
                            • Understanding of digital marketing, social media and the overall ecommerce space

                              PAYROLL SUPERVISOR

                              Zippo is currently seeking qualified applicants for a full-time, salaried, and majority on-site employment opportunity as a Payroll Supervisor-responsible for overseeing the shared service payroll staff and assure timely and accurate processing of all Company payrolls, related deductions, 401(k) pay administration, tax compliance, all federal and state labor reporting and set-up of out-of-state employees.

                              Primary Duties:

                              • Supervise and provide back-up support for payroll staff

                              • Approve payroll-related check and wire requests
                              • Approve weekly/bi-weekly scheduled and unscheduled pay runs
                              • Ensure pay processing deadlines
                              • Ensure Federal, State & Local Tax report filing deadlines
                              • Ensure Federal and State Labor report filing deadlines
                              • Assure timely transfer of funds to cover all payroll
                              • Release Direct Deposit files

                                                                    The successful candidate will perform activities to build new, repair, adjust, maintain, and make replacement parts for a variety of existing tools, dies, jigs, spare parts, fixtures, etc. Additionally, the candidate must possess safe work methods and ensure compliance with all company requirements (i.e. regulatory, safety, etc.) in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

                                                                    Responsibilities include reading and interpreting complex drawings, blueprints, sketches, and dimensional information. Must be able to use a variety of precision measurement equipment to evaluate in-process and completed work against print requirements. Set up, test, operate, and make minor changes to CNC equipment and programs.
