SALES ASSOCIATE

Zippo Manufacturing Company is currently seeking qualified applicants for a full-time hourly opportunity as a Sales Associate.

The Sales Associate will assist Sales Managers with handling sales functions within their pre-assigned territories, along with maintaining back-up duties outside assigned territories for cross functionality.  Additionally, the Sales Associate acts as liaison between Sales Managers, Area Sales Managers, and all customers for domestic, international, and national accounts.  Moreover, the Sales Associate works with various departments on projects for new custom lighters, customer projects, and customer specific items for orders.

Primary Duties Include:

  • Receives incoming phone calls, mail, e-mail and faxes for customers placing orders. Provides a variety of inquiry functions and handles complaints and questions from district sales representatives, sales managers, and customers. Provides back up to other sales associates.
  • Sets-up and maintains new and old customer account files and records. Enters orders and change orders as necessary in computer system. Enters computer graphic requests, project requests, and processes Design Center Visit information as necessary. Works with customers that come in for Design Center visits.
  • Writes debits, credits, tracers, return material authorizations and instructs receiving department on the disposition of returns. Processes and distributes catalog, pop and display orders and sales promotion material requests as directed.
  • Works closely with the Creative Services Department to ensure artwork is in on time and scheduled. Provides instructions for processing the artwork. Upon receipt of virtual and hard samples, forwards them to proper manager and or customer. Upon receipt of approval of all samples, enters sales orders as necessary to prompt work orders for production.
  • Assists all sales managers in conveying information to the field. Trains new sales associates and incumbents as required. Contacts customers upon sales managers request to update address information and notification of sales promotions.
  • Develops and maintains numerous spreadsheets for projects and reporting.
  • Develops and maintains reports for Sales Managers, ASM’s, and Customers.
  • Perform related duties or special assignments as directed.

  • Associate degree preferred or equivalent business-related experience in relevant field

        ASSOCIATE BRAND MANAGER

              RETAIL SALES ANALYST

              Zippo Manufacturing Company is currently seeking qualified applicants for a full-time office hourly opportunity as a Retail Sales Analyst.

              The Retail Sales Analyst will be responsible for collecting complex sales data and gathering detailed reports for major National Account chains (Walmart, Amazon, Walgreens), and will also be accountable for setting up new items through World1Sync for all Zippo and Ronson customers.

              Primary Duties Include:

              • Daily and weekly updates on all reporting aspects for National Accounts such as, Walmart stores using Retail Link, Amazon.com using Vendor Central, and other National Accounts platforms.
              • Maintenance of Global data information through GS1 standards.
              • Creation of GTINs as requested, and maintenance of the used GTINs so they are not duplicated by GS1 standards.
              • Submission of all new item set-ups through mandated data sync services, including IBM, 1 World Sync, ECC Net Pro Sync (Canadian retailers), SV Harbor and other retailer portals.
              • Completion of item set-up sheets for National accounts managers as needed.
              • Processing of SDS requests and maintenance of information through on-line site, WERCS.
              • Development and maintenance of Sales Spec. Sheets for new products which include weights, dimensions, UPC codes, product numbers, etc. for Zippo and Ronson products, as well as customer set-up and spec sheets.
              • Work with buyers and replenishment managers to assure we are meeting/exceeding standards in inventory control, on-time shipments, and line management.
              • EDI order processing and new item set-up for cross reference so that they are not duplicated.
              • Order entry for Walmart, McLane, and Walgreen accounts.
              • Manual entry of faxed orders for Walmart-processed by the end of the day.
              • Miscellaneous new product entry requests.
              • Weekly report for fulfillment to help keep stock in inventory for National Accounts.
              • Ordering and Maintaining sample inventories for both Zippo and Ronson items.
              • Collecting, analyzing, evaluating, and reporting data, to increase general sales productivity.
              • Assisting National Accounts Manager with meeting preparation by running sales reports: market basket analysis, Deck preparation, Retail Link Reports, AX, etc.

                    Zippo Manufacturing Company is currently seeking qualified applicants for a full-time office hourly opportunity as a Digital Product Content Coordinator.

                    The Digital Product Content Coordinator will be responsible for deploying product content and new product launches across all e-commerce accounts for Zippo and W.R. Case including new product uploads, ensuring content on corporate websites and key accounts stays current and relevant, creation of additional product content pages (A+ pages), and assisting with website optimization improvements.

                    Primary Duties Include:

                    • Setting up new item data loads for launch on all e-commerce websites for Zippo and W.R. Case (Amazon, zippo.com, caseknives.com, Wayfair, Optics Planet, GovX, eBay, etc.).
                    • Coordinating all online product launches.
                    • Producing SEO-rich product copy for digital channels that is attractive and engaging to target customers.

                                Zippo Manufacturing Company is currently seeking qualified applicants for a full-time office hourly opportunity as a Payroll Associate.

                                The Payroll Associate will be responsible for performing all statistical and clerical tasks involved in preparing and processing hourly and salaried payroll together with required reports.

                                Primary Responsibilities Include:

                                • Receiving time clock information and exception reports daily and reviewing each for accuracy and legibility; preparing input for Data transfers and comparing input to output.
                                • Processing reductions from gross pay by all authorized and required deductions; receiving and distributing checks.
                                • Answering and/or correcting paycheck inquiries.
                                • Preparing checks for special payments, as directed.
                                • Preparing pay data for release when approved.
                                • Maintaining and updating employee information records and files, as required.
                                • Preparing various cost P&L reports as required.

                                      We are seeking driven, creative sales professionals, who know how to engage with customers and build lasting relationships.  The Area Sales Manager will help their retail clients maximize consumer sales with the full range of Zippo products.

                                      Daily Responsibilities Include:

                                      • Conduct daily sales calls based on assigned objectives.
                                      • Present all new product launches to existing and prospective customers.
                                      • Develop and add new customers, calling on both wholesalers and retailers in assigned territory as necessary.

                                            The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for developing and improving processes and products, as well as designing, developing, and maintaining electrical and control systems and/or components to required specifications, focusing on cost, safety, reliability, quality, and sustainability.

                                            • Developing and managing small to medium size projects from concept to completion and maintaining control of project expenditures to avoid cost and schedule overruns at the direction of the department supervisor, as well as preparing budgets and timelines and assembling meetings on assigned projects.
