        CREDIT ANALYST

        Zippo Manufacturing Company is currently seeking qualified applicants for a full-time, salaried-exempt, and hybrid remote employment opportunity as a Credit Analyst- responsible for managing and maintaining credit policies and procedures at W.R. Case & Sons Company and Northern Lights to help increase sales, stimulate cash flow, and safeguard Company accounts receivables.

        *Work hours require flexibility to adjust to busy seasons and to back up other staff

        What you’ll do:

        • Interact with other internal functions such as sales, traffic, accounting, etc.
        • Efficiently manage day-to-day tasks and multiple priorities
        • Monitor changes in customer and AR portfolio risk
        • Review of entire AR portfolio and new account credit applications in a timely manner
        • Keep credit requests current and accurate to meet customer needs
        • Heavy telephone and written communications with customers
        • Assign credit limits according to guidelines and make recommendations to credit manager for those over guidelines
        • Gather and analyze credit and financials on new and existing customers
        • Assess credit and rebills, returns, and Co-Op credits
        • Review orders on hold and determine if an order release is appropriate
        • Assist in resolving EDI issues
        • Collect and maintain sales tax exemption forms
        • Identify and closely monitor high risk customers
        • Assist in reviewing customer’s vendor compliance guidelines
        • Perform related duties or special assignments as directed

         

        What you’ll need:

        • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
        • Minimum of 5 years commercial credit experience
        • Any similar combination of education and experience
        • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
        • Knowledge of AX operating system preferred

        SALES ASSISTANT

        Zippo Manufacturing Company is currently seeking qualified applicants for a part-time/temporary opportunity (25 to 40 hours weekly at $14 hourly) as a Sales Assistant at the Zippo/Case Museum & Flagship Store. This position will require time flexibility as work will primarily take place on weekends and holidays with opportunity for additional hours during the week.

        The Sales Assistant will be responsible for supporting and assisting the Zippo/Case Museum & Flagship Store Manager and other Museum & Flagship Store staff with various tasks to support the overall operation of the store, ensuring maximum sales and profitability.

        What you’ll do:

        • Assist in coordinating visual presentation of store, sales floor, and displays to ensure a consistent and quality store experience for customers while maximizing revenue and customer satisfaction.
        • Assist with inventory control.
        • Become knowledgeable of products to be able to educate customers regarding product features and benefits.
        • Promote and process sales at the Zippo/Case Museum & Flagship Store.
        • Handle daily cash receipts as stated in procedures.
        • Ensure company security procedures are being followed.
        • Execute company policies and procedures.
        • Uphold company image of quality to promote customer satisfaction and retention.
        • Assist with special events as needed.
        • Assist with marketing initiatives as assigned.

        DIGITAL MARKETING STRATEGIST

        Zippo Manufacturing Company is currently seeking qualified applicants for a salaried, full-time, and hybrid remote employment opportunity as a Digital Marketing Strategist-responsible for supporting digital marketing channel initiatives, including social media, email, and PPC programs. Social media duties include content creation and monitoring, moderation, reporting, analysis, relationship building and influencer program support. Email duties include creating emails in alignment with ongoing campaigns, optimizing and testing email performance, and developing / managing segments. PPC duties include building, managing, and optimizing Google Ads campaigns to meet business objectives. Additional duties include community management, audience nurturing, trends identification, and social listening for the Company’s social media programs to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts, and achieve goals.

        What you’ll do:

        • Manage paid digital marketing systems and programs including email, SMS/RCS (mobile messaging), SEM (search engine marketing).
        • Build and authorize budget assignments for Google Ads, manage supporting vendor partnerships, monitor paid program spends, optimize campaigns to maximize returns, and report on performance.
        • Develop and execute email/SMS promotions, product launches and channel updates for promotions in collaboration with the marketing and brand teams, sales, and other stakeholders. Maintain health, integrity, and security of subscription-based marketing programs.
        • Focus on optimizing paid digital marketing channels’ key KPIs.
        • Monitor Zippo-related posts and commentary across corporate social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Reddit, in adherence with brand standards and guidelines.
        • Engage with existing social media audiences to foster community and promote customer satisfaction and retention; engages with new audiences to build brand awareness and relevancy.
        • Perform social listening to identify potential issues, trends, and opportunities related to the company.
        • Produce and distributor meaningful, actionable insights on key conversation topics, volume, and sentiment for management review.
        • Assist as necessary with content creation, copywriting, and publishing across social channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Reddit.
        • Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure all channel communication is accurate, up-to-date, and otherwise appropriate.
        • Evaluate ongoing evolution of social media platforms, emerging technology, and trends related to social media, providing recommendations to team and management as appropriate.
        • Ensure all content released upholds the spirit and guidelines developed for social media conduct.
        • Monitor cultural local and world events to ensure planned and published content is appropriate.
        • Keep up to date on digital paid marketing best practices, applicable laws, and compliance standards, and ensure public facing data collection policies are up to date and in compliance.
        • Perform related duties or special assignments as directed.

         What you’ll need:

        • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field

        ELECTRICAL MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN

        Zippo Manufacturing Company is currently seeking qualified applicants for an office hourly and full-time employment opportunity as an Electrical Mechanical Technician-responsible for providing technical support and performing a variety of tasks for the development, installation, and maintenance of electrical control systems, equipment, machinery, Program Logic Control (PLC), and PC based hardware and software.

        What you’ll do:

        • Set – up, check, diagnose, and correct operational and experimental electrical control systems, PLC systems, electrical equipment and machinery using instructions, established guidelines, specifications, standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
        • Provide secondary support for the manufacturing data acquisition network and interface system.
        • Develop and service programs on various Program Logic Control (PLC) and PC for integrated applications in operational and experimental equipment.
        • Set-up, check, support, correct and program integrated machine vision systems / flow measurement operation systems and measuring equipment.
        • Develop specifications and recommend electrical / electronic components and equipment. Write functional specifications for various machine control hardware and software.
        • Identify and order parts and materials required for job completion.
        • Set-up, support, and program the application of robotics in the operations group.
        • Analyze, interpret, and develop wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, etc.
        • Use a variety of test instruments such as ohmmeter, oscilloscope, etc.
        • Apply experience and judgment for the planning and accomplishment of goals / assignments.
        • Investigate and make recommendations related to electrical controls and machine functions for continuous improvement and cost reduction efforts.
        • Work with various disciplines within the organization and production personnel / supervisors to accomplish identified goals and objectives.
        • Maintain records and documentation for machine / equipment development and history.
        • Communicate verbally and through written reports, spreadsheets, charts, etc. required information, as required.
        • Perform any other duties, related in nature, which may be assigned.

         

        What you’ll need:

        • Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology
        • 2 to 5 years of experience in the field
        • Or the equivalent in training and experience
        • Proficiency in PLC programming, electrical controls systems and PC based hardware and software machine interface systems
        • Working knowledge of data acquisition network and interface systems
        • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
