Zippo Manufacturing Company is currently seeking qualified applicants for a full-time office hourly opportunity as a Payroll Associate.

The Payroll Associate will be responsible for performing all statistical and clerical tasks involved in preparing and processing hourly and salaried payroll together with required reports.

Primary Duties Include:

  • Receiving time clock information and exception reports daily and reviewing each for accuracy and legibility; preparing input for Data transfers and comparing input to output.
  • Processing reductions from gross pay by all authorized and required deductions; receiving and distributing checks.
  • Answering and/or correcting paycheck inquiries.
  • Preparing checks for special payments, as directed.
  • Preparing pay data for release when approved.
  • Maintaining and updating employee information records and files, as required.
  • Preparing various cost P&L reports as required.
  • Using a variety of equipment incidental to proper and accurate procedure application.
  • Maintaining all necessary payroll controls in order to keep payroll in balance (monthly, quarterly, and annually).
  • Preparing vouchers for payroll distribution, i.e., general ledger, taxes, payroll deductions.
  • Preparing required payroll reports.
  • Preparing bank statement reconciliations with company records.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.

The Successful Candidate Should Have:

  • Associate degree in Accounting or related field
  • Two or more years’ experience in Accounting
  • Any similar combination of experience or education
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

            Zippo Manufacturing Company is currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager (RSM).

            We are seeking a driven, creative sales professional, with experience managing a team of sales professionals, who also knows how to engage with customers and build lasting relationships.  The Regional Sales Manager will travel with and assist their Area Sales Managers (ASMs) in maximizing consumer sales with the full range of Zippo products in order to meet revenue and profit goals.  Additionally, the Regional Sales Manager will manage, develop, and maintain strong business relationships with National Accounts within assigned territory.

            Daily Responsibilities Include:

            • Meet sales goals for assigned territory.
            • Travel with, manage and motivate ASMs within territory to meet revenue and profit goals.
            • Manage, develop, and maintain strong business relationships with National Accounts within assigned territory.
            • Manage coop expenses and channel marketing dollars within territory budget.
            • Properly forecast territory sales to maximize order fill rates and on-time delivery.
            • As required, will recruit, hire, and train internal staff as well as ASMs.
            • Evaluate performances and recommend promotions, transfers, disciplinary action, and termination.
            • Attend sales meetings and trade shows as needed.
            • Serve on strategic planning committees as required.

            The Successful Candidate Should Have:

            • Bachelor’s degree, AND/OR 5 years of inside/outside sales experience AND/OR
            • Any similar combination of education and experience.
            • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

                      Zippo Manufacturing Company is currently seeking qualified applicants for a full-time salaried opportunity as a Machinery Maintenance Supervisor.

                      The Machinery Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for supervising shop employees in a manufacturing and assembly environment. This position plans and assigns work and recommends improvements in methods, equipment, operating procedures, and working conditions.

                      Primary Duties Can Include:

                      • Ensure effective employee relations. Provide employee coaching and development. Makes employment decisions. Resolve employee issues through problem resolution.
                      • Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas. Work to continuously improve in all areas.
                      • Manage departmental performance metrics: productivity, efficiency, reject rate, and visual controls. Provide progress report if these performance metrics to manager. Address any concerns with the support of management.
                      • Perform daily department start-up meetings. In this meeting review daily performance metrics, safety topics, and goals for the day.
                      • Identify and work on department improvement projects. Present updates at the weekly supervisor meeting.
                      • Help perform accident investigations.
                      • Manage department priorities and make staffing adjustments as necessary.
                      • Distribute payroll checks and other printed materials to employees as directed by Human Resources. Collect and submit to Human Resources any documents from employees as requested. Notify Human Resources of absences and employee request for personal time off.
                      • Schedule and approve all department vacation requests.
                      • Monitor department overtime needs and schedule with approval from Manager.

                      The Successful Candidate Should Have:

                      • Associates Degree in related field or equivalent experience
                      • 3-5 years of experience in a production environment.

                                ASSOCIATE BRAND MANAGER

                                Zippo Manufacturing Company is currently seeking qualified applicants for a full-time salaried opportunity as an Associate Brand Manager.

                                The Associate Brand Manager will be responsible for in-depth business analysis, and assisting in the development and execution of comprehensive marketing plans to develop sales, build brand equity, and increase awareness for Zippo Outdoor and Case Knives.  Reporting to the Sr. Brand Manager of Zippo Outdoor & Case, this position works with Zippo and Case sales, marketing, and innovation staffs, agencies and customers, to address business challenges through above and below the line strategic marketing initiatives.

                                Primary Duties Include:

                                • Assist Senior Brand Manager in execution of marketing plans.
                                • Analysis of product category sales, financials, and marketing expenditures.
                                • Collaborate with global subsidiaries to address needs and market feedback.
