      LICENSING COORDINATOR

      Zippo Manufacturing Company is currently seeking qualified applicants for a full-time employment opportunity as a Licensing Coordinator.

      The Licensing Coordinator will support a group of product and international licenses to ensure licensing compliance and foster business growth as well as plan and coordinate work activities and resources to guarantee the overall effectiveness of all licensing activities at Zippo.

      Primary Duties Include:

      •  Work directly with the Sales team supporting and maintain all outsourced decorating processes for domestic and international licensing initiatives.
      • Identify, prioritize, and get approval for all artwork ensuring it meets ZMC’s branding standards.
      • Monitor, process, and document licenses and license renewals.
      • Complete business license applications and gather required supporting documents and signatures.
      • Research and document required operational license for company.
      • Assist in resolving licensing issues as needed.
      • Track and analyze all royalty reports efficiently.
      • Perform required market research.
      • Work with IMC, Digital Marketing, Brand and Sales to ensure projects are executed on time by coordinating efforts between the appropriate departments. Keep workback schedules to communicate timelines.
      • Trend research for licensing that fits the brand based on requests from various departments on an as needed basis. Assist with developing prospecting for new Licenses globally.
      • Monitor activity, implement appropriate design changes and deletions for the Asset Resource Center.
      • Assist Licensing, IMC, Creative Services, Sales, and other departments with development of programs for the mobile design centers. Ensure clear communication and charting to manage timing expectations.
      • Lead in the communication of international websites to ensure customers clearly understand all changes necessary to ensure timely launch. Work with IMC and related departments to launch successfully.
      • Coordinate Licensing information to share in internal news broadcasts for the departments, which may include drafting a copy for the newsletters.
      • Prepare power point presentations for licensing meetings, as necessary.
      • Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
      • Perform random duties and functions to help the licensing team as directed, including preparing sales reports, brainstorming Marketing trends and ideas, tracking programs, and gathering sales forecasts to name a few.
      • Coordinate customer visits for the department, which can include providing PowerPoints, sales reports and scheduling calendars and conference rooms. Evaluate Customer visitation sheet and communicate with department.
      • Coordinate trade shows and set up.
      • Reach out to Licensors for updates on Marketing and Brand campaigns and share with related departments.
      • Set up Licensing calendars and project sheets that need to be monitored and tracked regularly. Communicate with the departments on status regularly.
      • Perform related duties or special assignments as directed.

      The Successful Candidate Should Have:

      • Associate degree in relevant field
      • Two years of relevant experience in a project coordinator, account management, marketing, or brand licensing support role preferred, or equivalent experience and training

      AREA BUSINESS MANAGER (ABM) 

      Zippo is currently seeking Area Business Managers (ABMs)

      *Candidate is preferably already located in the Kansas City, Kansas area.

      We are seeking driven, creative sales professionals, who know how to engage with customers and build lasting relationships. The Area Business Manager will help to grow sales and net margins by managing business among existing accounts and promoting the Zippo product line to new customers within their assigned territory (Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and southern Illinois).

      Daily responsibilities include:

      • Conduct daily sales calls based on assigned objectives.
      • Present all new product launches to existing and prospective customers.
      • Develop and add new customers, cold calling both wholesalers and retailers in assigned territory, as necessary.
      • Travel and conduct sales meetings with existing customers on assigned frequency, and at least weekly, to review their business performance.
      • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
      • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
      • Achieve agreed upon sales and net margin targets and outcomes within schedule.

      • Overnight domestic travel required (up to 50%) – multiple overnight stays in a row required to properly cover the territory.
      • Work primarily within assigned territory but travel to other locations for discrete periods on occasion, as required.

       The successful candidate should have:

      • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience in sales/retail, or any similar combination of education and experience.
      • Ability to work efficiently within the Microsoft Office platforms and proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams as well as Salesforce CRM.
      • Valid Driver’s License, ability to comply with all applicable motor vehicle laws, and evidence of sufficient insurance coverage.
      • Ability to work remotely from a home-based office.

      FINANCIAL ANALYST     

      Zippo Manufacturing Company is currently seeking qualified applicants for a full-time  office salaried opportunity as a Financial Analyst. 

      The Financial Analyst is Responsible for organizational financial planning and business analysis, analyzing financial statements, and predicting future performance. This position also includes forecasting future revenues and expenditures, modeling capital structure, and overall departmental expense budgeting. The Financial Analyst will keep track of the Company’s financial plan, analyzing the Company’s performance alongside changes and market trends, as well as calculating, tracking, and explaining forecast vs. actual variances.

      Primary Duties:

      • Plan, schedule, execute annual budgeting process

      • Grow financial performance through analysis of financial results, forecasts, variances, and trends
      • Create recommendations to be presented to management and executives
      • Develop financial models to support valuation, planning, and forecasting

            Zippo is currently seeking qualified applicants for a full-time, salaried, and fully remote employment opportunity as a Marketing Analytics Manager, responsible for managing and growing a multi-channel, multi-category, multi-national marketing analytics system that will guide the global marketing decisions for Zippo Manufacturing Company. This manager will collect, analyze, report (with visualizations) and make recommendations on the full-funnel optimization of marketing spend for all digital and non-digital marketing programs and channels.

            Primary Duties Include:

            • Collect, analyze, report (visualized), and recommend optimizations at every point along the marketing funnel, across multiple channels, categories, and geographies.

            • Responsibilities Include:
            • Contribute to and manage attribution system and associated dashboards
            • Develop & implement standardized processes for addressing business questions through data capture, flows & analyses
            • Perform deep analyses using analytical and statistical methods and tools

                  • Supervise and provide back-up support for payroll staff

                  • Approve payroll-related check and wire requests
                  • Approve weekly/bi-weekly scheduled and unscheduled pay runs

                                                        The successful candidate will perform activities to build new, repair, adjust, maintain, and make replacement parts for a variety of existing tools, dies, jigs, spare parts, fixtures, etc. Additionally, the candidate must possess safe work methods and ensure compliance with all company requirements (i.e. regulatory, safety, etc.) in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

                                                        Responsibilities include reading and interpreting complex drawings, blueprints, sketches, and dimensional information. Set up, test, operate, and make minor changes to CNC equipment and programs.
