        IT SERVICE DESK TECHNICIAN II

        Zippo Manufacturing Company is currently seeking qualified applicants for a full-time, salaried, employment opportunity as an IT Service Desk Technician II in a shared service capacity for Zippo, W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co., and Northern Lights Enterprises, Inc. - responsible for ensuring proper computer operation so that end users can accomplish business tasks. This includes actively resolving escalated end-user help requests within established SLAs. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools, as well as require that the individual give in-person, hands-on help at the desktop level.

        *This role will work fully on-site at Northern Lights Enterprises, Inc. in Wellsville, NY.

        Primary Duties Include:

        • Evaluate documented resolutions and analyze trends for ways to prevent recurring issues.
        • Alert management to emerging trends in incidents.
        • Document standard configurations of the Local environment.
        • Deploy pre-packaged software as needed using automated deployment tools.
        • Assist in software releases and rollouts according to change management best practices.
        • Assist in acquisition of hardware in accordance with company policies.
        • Assisting in providing Level I support when request volumes are high.
        • Act as an escalation point for advanced or difficult help requests.
        • Build rapport with service desk customers
        • Escalate incidents with accurate documentation to suitable technician or vendor, when required.
        • Record, track, and document the service desk incident-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made and actions taken, through to final resolution.
        • Use remote tools and diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting.
        • Research solutions through internal and external knowledgebase as needed.
        • Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level when remote tools are not appropriate, including hardware repairs, delivery of peripherals, or other fixes as determined.
        • Install antivirus software and ensure virus definitions are up to date.
        • Perform preventative maintenance, including checking and cleaning of servers, UPS, and Generator testing.
        • Test fixes to ensure problem has been adequately resolved.
        • Perform post-resolution follow-ups with Level I Technicians as required.
        • Develop help sheets and FAQ lists for end users.
        • Contribute to technician knowledgebase and training as needed.
        • Reinforce SLAs to manage end-user expectations.
        • Provide suggestions for continual improvement.
        • Performs other duties as assigned.

         The Successful Candidate should have:

        • College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and/or five years of equivalent work experience
        • Certification in Microsoft Administrator roles preferred
        • Knowledge of advanced computer hardware, including Virtualization Technologies and MAC
        • Experience with desktop and server operating systems, including Windows 10, Server 2019 back to and including Windows 2008.

        SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGIST

        Zippo Manufacturing Company is currently seeking qualified applicants for a full-time, majority remote, and salaried opportunity as a Social Media Strategist.

        The Social Media Strategist will be responsible for supporting all marketing initiatives via:

        • Content creation, copywriting, posting, and monitoring for corporate social media platforms and Zippo websites.
        • Management of social media advertising, including ad creation, targeting, budgeting, tracking, and reporting with direction from Global Manager, Social Media.
        • Managing the day-to-day interaction on various platforms.

          What you’ll do:

          • Coordinate and execute all aspects of corporate catalog and brochure creation such as trends identification, design ideation sessions, consumer testing, product selection, catalog/brochure creation, proofing and distribution.
          • Collaborate with Brand Manager and Sales team to develop and implement Point of Purchase materials for all channels and markets.

          • Develop and manage small to medium size projects and the reporting there of at the direction of the Department Supervisor.

          SALES ASSISTANT - ZIPPO/CASE MUSEUM

          Zippo is currently seeking qualified applicants for multiple part-time/temporary openings (25 to 40 hours weekly at $14 hourly) as a Sales Assistant at the Zippo/Case Museum & Flagship Store. This position will require time flexibility as work will primarily take place on weekends with opportunity for additional hours during the week.

          The Sales Assistant will be responsible for supporting and assisting the Museum & Flagship Store Manager and other Museum & Flagship Store staff with various tasks to support the overall operation of the store, ensuring maximum sales and profitability. Additionally, the Sales Assistant will also be responsible for providing support and assisting in the organization and documentation of Archives.

          What you’ll do:

          • Assist with coordinating visual presentation of store, sales floor, and displays to ensure a consistent and quality store experience for customers while maximizing revenue and customer satisfaction.
          • Assist with inventory control.
          • Become knowledgeable of products to be able to educate customers regarding product features and benefits.

              Zippo is currently seeking qualified applicants for a full-time hourly Engineering Specialist employment opportunity-responsible for assisting engineers and manufacturing personnel in developing and improving processes and products through investigation and testing.

              Primary Duties:

              • Provide support to the manufacturing operation by working with manufacturing personnel in solving problems as they arise.
              • Develop and conduct a variety of experiments under the supervision of the Engineering staff. Collect and analyze data from tests and experiments making recommendations on corrective action or improvements.
              • Set-up and test new equipment and process as deemed appropriate. Monitor and record problems with process and mechanical equipment at the direction of the Engineering staff.
              • Comprehension and use of measurement equipment needed for Quality and Process Control as well as Analysis.

              • Read and interpret engineering drawings and other engineering related documentation including charts and formulas.
