February 7, 2017 - Mr. Liu Jinghua has been appointed to the new position of Managing Director, Asia, effective January 1, 2017. In this role, Mr. Liu will be responsible for all Zippo business development at Greater China, Far East, and Southeast Asia markets. Additionally, he will oversee operations for three of Zippo’s wholly owned subsidiaries in China.
Mr. Liu joined Zippo in 2011 as Zippo’s first China-based executive. In that postion, he established the company’s first mainland based business unit, three wholly owned Zippo subsidiaries, and two regional sales offices. Over the past 6 years, he has led a successful channel reform, built up a well-regulated nation-wide retail network and established strong partnership with hundreds of dealers, country-wide.
Prior to joining Zippo, Mr. Liu worked as the head of sales, at PhilipMorris-China. He holds a degree in International Economy and Trade, Science of Law, and an MBA from Beijing University.
