Before sending your Zippo Candle lighter for repair, check the instructions and warranty information by clicking above.  If your candle lighter still does not function properly and is within the warranty period, please follow the repair steps below.  

Butane Fuel

*Please do not attempt to perform repairs yourself as it could damage the lighter beyond repair.
*When sending a candle lighter for repair, it will be replaced with a standard model (color may vary) similar in style.  The original is not returned, unless specified on the repair form.


1. Prepare Zippo Candle Lighter To Ship

Due to postal and other shipping regulations, the Zippo Candle Lighter must be shipped via ground service.

2. Pack Zippo Candle Lighter

We cannot track or prevent damage to multiple items sent for repair. Please send only one Zippo candle lighter per package. 

  • Package completed repair form along with your Zippo candle lighter in a sturdy box, along with the applicable $5.00 handling fee. (See warranty and instructions for more information on the handling fee.)
  • Include a copy of your sales receipt as proof of purchase with the Zippo candle lighter.  

3. Send Zippo Candle Lighter

Send your package to the Zippo Repair Clinic with a tracking number and insurance.
