540 Color Street Art Collection

To celebrate the launch of our latest design innovation - 540 Color - we sponsored the inaugural London Mural Festival, a celebration of creativity, that took place throughout September.

To mark the partnership and showcase the vividness of this new decoration process we proudly collaborated with three street artists, D*Face, Tristan Eaton, Marija Tiurina, to create a collection of street art-inspired windproof lighters.

Zippo lighters have become an unconventional canvas for art and design. Fans can now carry a piece of street art inside their pocket with the brand new 3-piece collection.

As part of the London Mural Festival, Zippo has teamed up with British street artist D*Face to create a mural in London’s King’s Cross.

D*Face, also known as Dean Stockton, is a London-born street artist renowned for his iconic murals and designs on stickers, posters and stencils. His aesthetic nods to heightened contemporary issues of consumerism, pop dystopia, celebrity and desire.

This Zippo x D*Face limited edition lighter, replicates the design of his King’s Cross mural. Limited to 1,760 pieces worldwide.

The design depicts a Frankenstein’s Monster in D*Faces’ signature ‘aPOPcalyptic’ style. The subversive self-portrait represents the mash up of culture and media that surrounds us in the 21st century – a nod to the brand’s iconic pop culture status and commitment to individual expression.

American artist Tristan Eaton has been a household name amongst street art fans for years, with an impressive portfolio spanning everything from six-story public murals, to children’s toys and presidential campaign posters.

Using his famous American Power mural design, currently displayed at Wynwood Walls in Miami, Tristan’s love of comic books and skateboarding culture shines through on this special edition windproof lighter. The original mural was a tribute to the powerful women of his country with bright colour bursts, which now make this Zippo lighter a standout design in the limited edition 4-piece collection.

The Zippo x Marija Tiurina special edition lighter sits proudly amongst the Zippo Street Art Collection. Russian-Lithuanian illustrator and concept artist Marija Tiurina made a name for herself via her work as a video gaming artist. She is best known for her use of dark colours, intricate designs and thought provoking images. This design is distinctively a Marija design, showcasing her signature style of fine detail married with abstract story-telling.
