Assistant Marketing Communications Manager

Required skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communication, professional writing or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in a foreign language.
• 4 – 10 years proven experience in marketing communications, including B2B and B2C
• Knowledge of Adobe CS products (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong understanding of new social media.
• Excellent writer and passionate communicator.

Senior Programmer Analyst
Zippo Manufacturing Company is looking for a Programmer Analyst to be part of our Information Technology team. The job will require a team player with good programming and troubleshooting skills. Required job functions are performing or participating in a variety of analytical and programming assignments, supporting Zippo’s enterprise and in house applications and duties not limited to the list below.
• Identify opportunities to improve business performance through the use of existing or new application software.
• ERP system support and maintenance.
• Manage consultants, technical personnel and vendors for services and products as directed.
• Provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries by users regarding errors, problems, or questions about applications software.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems or related field with 4+ years experience writing software applications and reports plus 4+ years supporting and developing in a manufacturing environment.
Required skills:
• Visual Studio VB.net Console and Web application programming, SQL Server 2008 SQL/TSQL, Advanced Crystal and SSR Report development.
• The successful candidate will also have the ability to complete work within estimated time constraints, time management skills to handle multiple task assignments, the drive and natural tendency to keep technology skills up to date, good verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to work with customers inside and outside of the company.
Other desirable skills include:
• Experience supporting EDI and Shipping systems, Oracle SQL/PLSQL and MS Office expertise.

Zippo Store Manager
Anything But Ordinary Zippo has just unveiled its newly designed retail store at the Zippo/Case Museum in Bradford, Pennsylvania. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, talented and passionate individual to join our team as Store Manager. The Store Manager is a key member of the Zippo management team, responsible for providing leadership and direction while ensuring efficient and effective store operations and sales.
Requirements:
Two year degree in Retail or Business Administration 2+ years’ experience in specialty retail sales, with supervisory experience.
• Proven background and aptitude in exceptional customer service.
• Excellent merchandising and display skills
• Good planning and organizational skills with a sense of priority and attention to detail
• Ability to handle diverse, demanding workload in a fast-paced environment; make effective decisions in a timely manner; establish and maintain positive working relationships with management, customers and co-workers
• Commitment to work varied hours and days including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Manager Responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise store sales associates to ensure efficient floor operations, customer service, coverage, and execution of visual standards.
• Build strong sales and service relationships, and consistently model key sales and service behaviors with every team member to create an optimal visitor experience.
• Train sales associates and make sure that all sales associates are aware of and follow company policies and procedures.
• Perform store activities such as cash register transactions, product flow procedures and visual display creation and modification.
• Perform opening and closing procedures which include balancing registers, preparing cash bags, and activating security system.
