Zippo Pit Roadie Sweepstakes

What:
 One person will win the chance to be part of the Kyle Busch #92 Zippo BLUTM pit crew for the Zippo 200 Nationwide series race at Watkins Glen International. Winner will tour team transporter and garage area, meet the driver and team, receive a team shirt, and watch the race from the pit area. Photo ops with driver and team. Prize package also includes three nights lodging for two people (winner and guest), two tickets for reserved grandstand seating for the NASCAR Sprint Cup race on Sunday, August 10, and $2500 cash.

When:
August 8 – 10, 2008. Zippo 200 Nationwide series race is Saturday, August 9; Centurion Boats at the Glen NASCAR Sprint Cup race is Sunday, August 10.

Where:
 Zippo 200 at Watkins Glen International, located in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York.

Who:
Zippo Pit Roadie Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the continental United States, 18 years of age or older. Employees and their immediate families, agents, agencies, distributors and partners of Zippo and its affiliated companies are not eligible to enter.  Proof of eligibility will be required.

How to Enter:
Sign up online at Zippo.com or complete an entry form at selected Zippo Car events. All entries must be received by midnight Wednesday, July 9. Winner will be notified Friday, July 11.

Official Rules:
  1. Winner and guest must be legal residents of the continental United States, 18 years of age or older. Employees and their immediate families, agents, agencies, distributors and partners of Zippo and its affiliated companies are not eligible to enter.  Proof of eligibility will be required.
  2. All entry forms must be received by midnight Wednesday, July 9. If you do not want to be contacted for promotional purposes, please uncheck the opt-in box on the online entry form. All incomplete or non-conforming entries will be disqualified.  If for any reason this sweepstakes is not executed as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Zippo, Zippo reserves the right to terminate the sweepstakes.  If this sweepstakes is terminated before the original end date, winner will be selected by random drawing from among all eligible entries received as of the termination date.
  3. One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive hotel accommodations consisting of one (1) double occupancy room for three (3) nights, two (2) tickets for reserved grandstand seating for the Zippo 200 Nationwide series race on Saturday, August 9 and the NASCAR Sprint Cup race on Sunday, August 10, and $2500 cash. Transportation arrangements and expenses are the responsibility of the winner. Winner and guest must be legal residents of the continental United States, 18 years of age or older. Total approximate retail value (ARV) $3,500.  If the potential winner cannot accept prize as stated, prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. All other expenses and costs not expressly listed above are the responsibility of the winner and guest.
  4. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Prizes may not be transferred, assigned, redeemed for cash or substituted, except that the sponsor may substitute any prize with a prize of equal or greater value. Taxes are solely the responsibility of the winner and guest.
  5. On or around July 10, 2008, a random drawing will be conducted from among all eligible entries received. The potential winner must comply fully with these Official Rules in order to win and receive the Pit Roadie Sweepstakes prize package. Zippo will attempt to contact potential winner by telephone, mail and/or e-mail within two (2) days after the drawing. If a potential winner cannot be contacted within three (3) days after first attempt at contacting such potential winner, an alternate potential winner will be randomly drawn from all remaining eligible entries.  Winner and guest must complete, sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release within seven (7) days of notification, or the sweepstakes prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner.
  6. By accepting the Pit Roadie Sweepstakes prize, the winner and guest consent to the use of their names and/or likenesses for advertising, promotion, public relations or trade purposes with no additional compensation.
  7. By entering and providing the required entry information, you acknowledge that Sponsor may also send you information, samples or special offers it believes may be of interest to you about Zippo products or other complimentary goods offered by Sponsor, or other companies it may carefully select. Information collected from online entrants is subject to Sponsor’s online privacy policy which can be viewed at www.zippo.com/privacy.   8. Winner and guest must agree to execute a release, indemnify and hold harmless Zippo, participating promotional partners, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and their respective directors, officers, employees, representatives and agents from any and all liability for any claim, injury, loss or damage of any kind to any person, including without limitation disability and death, any contractual, intellectual or other proprietary rights, and any damage or loss to property, arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize, or participation in this Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes related activity.
  9. Except where prohibited by law: (i) entry constitutes permission to use winner’s entry, name, hometown, voice, likeness, photograph and any statements regarding this sweepstakes they make for editorial, public relations, promotional and advertising purposes on behalf of Sponsor without compensation; (ii) potential winners will be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability/Publicity within seven (7) days of notification or an alternate winner will be selected by random drawing.  If winner notification is returned as undeliverable, an alternate winner will be selected by random drawing. By participating and winning a prize, winner releases Sweepstakes Entities, their partners, affiliates, subsidiaries and agencies and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability for any claim, injury, loss or damage of any kind to any person, including without limitation disability and death, any contractual, intellectual or other proprietary rights, and any damage or loss to property, arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize, or participation in this Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes related activity.
  10. DISPUTE RESOLUTION: Except where prohibited, by participating in the Pit Roadie Sweepstakes entrants agree that:  All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of participant(s) and Sponsor and its agents shall be governed by and construed exclusively in accordance with the laws of the State of Pennsylvania without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law of any jurisdiction. Entrant agrees that any action at law or in equity arising out of or relating to this Sweepstakes, or awarding of the prizes, shall be filed only in the state or federal courts located in the State of Pennsylvania and entrant hereby consents and submits to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purposes of litigating any such action. Except where prohibited by law, by participating in this Sweepstakes, entrant agrees that: (a) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, or awarding of the prizes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and (b) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with participating in this Sweepstakes but in no event attorneys' fees; and (c) under no circumstances will any participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby specifically waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. Some jurisdictions do not allow the above limitations or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above may not apply to you.
