Does the MPL have a lifetime warranty?

Any Zippo Multi-Purpose Lighter returned to our Repair Clinic for warranty repair will be repaired free of charge or replaced, at our discretion. There is a $5.00 Shipping and Handling Charge. Damage to the Multi-Purpose lighter resulting from abuse or misuse is not covered by our warranty. The finish is also not warranted.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Other Zippo products carry their own specific warranties. To obtain service under this warranty, follow these shipping instructions:

 

 

· There is a $5.00 shipping and handling charge for the processing of repairs for MPL and MINI-MPL products

· Package lighter securely in an oversized box or padded shipping bag (large packages are less likely to be lost or misplaced in transit.)

· Include your name, address, telephone number and email address on a note inside the package.

· Include a check for the $5.00 shipping and handling charge.

· Insure your package, send via a trackable method, shipping charges paid, to:

· When we receive your utility lighter it will be promptly repaired or replaced.

Our Repair Department performs excellent repairs at no charge. Please do not attempt to perform repairs yourself, as it could damage the product beyond repair.

Do not affix materials to the lighter as they could damage the finish. Examples include:

  • Address labels or tape
  • Rubber bands
  • Safety or straight pins

Zippo will send you an acknowledgement of our receipt of your repair, if you include your email address.
